Dr. Rashid is a compassionate cardiologist with extensive knowledge in cardiac imaging, nuclear cardiology and cardiac diseases. Dr. Rashid cares deeply for her patients and works hard to create a healthy care path for them.
Dr. Rashid is American Board Certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine in New York. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center, followed by her fellowship in Multimodality Cardiac Imaging at Morristown Medical Center and a Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship at Cornell University. Dr. Rashid has published many articles and has done extensive research on cardiac imaging and cardiac diseases. Dr. Rashid has been the Director of Nuclear Cardiology, the Director of Cardiac CTA program, the Director of Cardiac MRI program, and the Director and Founder of the Heart Failure Clinic.
